Isobel Walker


Isobel is undertaking a PhD at the Doherty Institute, University of Melbourne, where she is supervised by Prof Stephen Rogerson, Dr Elizabeth Aitken and Dr Amy Chung. Isobel’s PhD is focused on protective immunity to malaria for children living in high transmission areas, including in Papua New Guinea. Specifically, she aims to understand the targets and functions of antibodies that protect from severe disease during the blood stage of P. falciparum infection.
