James Walker

Dr James Walker is a Research Fellow at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne. Their research focuses on simulation and inference for epidemic models. These tools are used to provide situational awareness and to inform public health response.

Within ACREME, James will investigate suppression of malaria in Vietnam. They are considering modelling and inference for malaria in this setting with an aim to determine optimal intervention strategies.
