Liony Fransisca

Profile

Dr. Liony Fransisca is a research officer working with Papuan Health and Community Development Foundation (YPKMP) in Indonesia doing research project on malaria in collaboration with Menzies School of Health Research. The project is focused on health system strengthening, especially on improving diagnosis and patient management, detection of recurrence, reporting, and cadre’s work. Her previous works include community development programs in remote areas of Papua, especially on mother and child health, Tuberculosis, HIV, and other infectious diseases. Her PhD research is supervised by Prof Ric Price (Menzies), Dr Benedikt Ley (Menzies), Dr Nicholas Douglas (Menzies) and Dr Rini Poespoprodjo (YPKMP).
