Nicholas Anstey

Profile

Nick Anstey is Professor of Global Health at Menzies School of Health Research in Darwin. He collaborates with partners in Indonesia, Malaysia and across the Asia-Pacific. His team’s research program spans the epidemiology, pathophysiology, treatment and elinination of uncomplicated and severe malaria from the three major species causing malaria deaths in our region: Plasmodium falciparum, P. vivax and P. knowlesi. An author of over 250 publications, he is a member of WHO Technical Expert and Evidence Review Groups in malaria and advises on malaria treatment policy nationally and internationally.
