Nicholas Dooley


Nicholas is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr Michelle Boyle, Prof Christian Engwerda and Prof J Alejandro Lopez through Griffith University and QIMR Berghofer. His research focuses on characterising the activation gamma-delta T cell in the context of Plasmodium falciparum malaria. His current work investigates novel functions of gamma-delta T cells in malarial antibody development, and the modulation of gamma-delta T cell activation with increasing age, comorbidities and repeat exposure.
