Rebecca Dabbs

Profile

Rebecca completed her PhD at the University of Wollongong before moving to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London to work on malaria seroepidemiology. To combine her interest in immunology, infectious disease and translational research she took up a role at the Jenner institute (University of Oxford) working on the development of malaria transmission blocking vaccines, before joining the spin-out company Spybiotech to develop vaccines to a range of disease candidates.

Rebecca is now a Senior Research Officer within Dr. Jack Richards’ Malaria and Tropical Diseases group and within ACREME will work on the development of a quantitative, point of care assay for G6PD deficiency to allow informed treatment of patients with malaria.
