Sophie Zaloumis

Profile

Dr Sophie Zaloumis is a Biostatistician at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne, and holds an Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (2017-2019). Her research interests are Bayesian inference for high-dimensional non-linear models, pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modelling of antimalarial drugs and epidemiological studies investigating gene-environment interactions.

Within ACREME, Sophie will be involved with the pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modelling in research theme 3 (determining safe and effective antimalarial treatments).
