Description

ACREME is developing tools, such as antibody markers of malaria exposure, to better identify communities where malaria is being transmitted, to enable rapid deployment of resources where they are needed most. We are using parasite genetics to track movement of parasites and spread of drug resistance, which poses a unique challenge to malaria elimination in the Asia Pacific region. Mapping and modelling technologies will be used to identify areas with critical malaria problems, and to model solutions to these problems that can be implemented from national scale down to community level.
